We recently sold our house in Adyar and it was through a great partnership with Sivasubramaniam and Sangeeta S from Hanu Reddy Realty that it was closed so fast ! They were not only professional and responsive to all our questions but they also took care of some of the requirements of the sale, that needed physically following up with the registrar’s office and the legal team of the buyer. This was of immense help as we are not based in Chennai. As my mother is a senior citizen they facilitated all the requirements for registration as seamlessly as possible roping in the legal team of the buyer where needed. Templates of necessary documents were sent to us ahead of time so that we could organise ourselves accordingly … especially the POA’s !! As the house was off rental when we gave it to them for the sale, they helped us fix the Security staff that took care of it for a couple of months. We have known and used the services of Hanu Reddy Realty in the US also , so it was great to continue the relationship across continents… this time selling our parents home in India. Thank you Hanu, Siva and Sangeeta

My wife and I got in touch with Mr Jagadeesh of Hanu Reddy, through a friend. By then we were looking everywhere ( in Bessie) for a house that suited us, and going nowhere in a hurry.

Mr Jagadeesh connected us with his colleague, Ms Sangeetha, who understood our need for speed, and helped accelerate the process and find a house within our requirements, and in the short time window we had.

The interactions, negotiations and facilitation of discussions with the landlord, were initiated professionally. There were a couple of incidents that we could have done without (and we would have lost the house for no fault of ours) but we managed to overcome those, and all was well that ended well.

Would I recommend Hanu Reddy to anyone?

Heck, despite those glitches, I already have put more business her way, and that's because we think that she's not the typical cynical 'broker' you find, and is generally positive and polite.

Essentially, what we've discovered is that your experience of Hanu Reddy Realty will depend on who in HRR handles your mandate. And how clear you are with what you want and the lines you draw.

Overall, the outcome was satisfactory, and we got a lovely place, but it could have gone South. All in all, if you are looking to sell, buy or rent a property, do connect with Sangeetha.

Or if your friends have had a good experience with a particular person there, insist on working with them by name. It matters.
